Pablo Hernandez has told Leeds United’s official website that a lot of talking has happened in training this week.

Leeds are prepping to face Bristol City, and Marcelo Bielsa has been keen to ensure that his side know the challenge ahead of them at the weekend.

The Robins are currently eight points and 10 places behind Leeds in the Championship table.

But Hernandez insists that Leeds know that they are in for a challenge at the weekend if they are to get the three points.

“We’re coming up against a good team in Bristol City, we’ve talked a lot this week and worked a lot on the training pitch,” Hernandez said.

“We need to keep calm and not change too much. We know what we have to do on the pitch, we know our style and spirit and we’ve shown on the pitch in most of the games that we can beat every opponent.

“This is the way, this is our mentality and we are at home in front of our fans which is the motivation for us.”

Hernandez looks likely to start for Leeds at the weekend, and he will be tasked with being one of Bielsa’s side’s main creative influences.

Leeds were heavily beaten in their last outing before the international break against West Bromwich Albion, and they will be looking to bounce back from that defeat.

If Leeds can pick up the three points against Bristol City, they could move up to the top of the Championship table, if other results go in their favour.
