Garry Monk quit Leeds United in shock circumstances back in May.

Pablo Hernandez has suggested on LUTV that he was disappointed by Garry Monk’s decision to leave Leeds United, but insists he is happy playing under Thomas Christiansen and his fellow Spaniards.
Monk shocked Leeds back in May by handing in his resignation only a matter of weeks after the Whites ended a very encouraging Championship season in seventh.
The now-Middlesbrough manager was replaced by former APOEL Nicosia boss Christiansen, hired by Spanish Director of Football Victor Orta who drafted in a number of other behind-the-scenes figures from Spain.

Hernandez, 32, had previously played with and under Monk at Swansea, meaning his presence in West Yorkshire was likely to have been a big factor in his decision to join United.
And although he suggests he was disappointed by the 38-year-old’s sudden departure, the Spanish playmaker is still right at home in a club where so many of his compatriots are working.
He told LUTV: “Yes it’s true I arrive here because Garry called me, but it’s football, there is continuous change.

“It was not good for me when he left but I know I have a contract and I’m very happy to continue with the new gaffer.
“He knows my style. And all the staff are Spanish so I think this helps me [when it comes to] showing my best football.”
