In the summer Leeds United made a move to bring in former Spanish international Pablo Hernandez to the club.

The former Swansea City playmaker was known to the new management team of Garry Monk and Pep Clotet from their time working at the Liberty Stadium.

He has since proven to be an impressive member of the Leeds first-team and is clearly enjoying his time at the club.

He is also enjoying playing with the Leeds players. Especially, it appears, Ronaldo Vieira and Chris Wood.

Hernandez was speaking to Marca this week about his time at Leeds United so far and spoke of the talent at the club, stating:

“We have good youngsters, like Ronaldo Vieira, who has just turned 18 and who will play soon in the Premier League.

“Or Chris Wood, this year he has 20 goals and surprised me. Has goal, is always in the right place.”

There is no doubt that the young Portuguese midfielder Vieira is showing all the attributes to go all the way in his career, hopefully art Leeds.

But Wood has been the star for Leeds this season. Playing up front on his own he has finally found some consistency and has scored 19 goals in the Championship this season.

Hernandez is certainly enjoying playing with Vieira backing him up in defence and with Wood ready to be fed up top.
