Arsenal stars have dominated a fan voted Premier League team of the season.
Arsenal duo Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud have somewhat controversially been picked in a Barclays Premier League Team of the Season.
The difference between this team and the official PFA Team of the Year, is this one on the Premier League’s website, was voted for by fans, rather than the players themselves.
And it appears Arsenal’s sizeable fanbase have had their own say, voting for five players in total, with Wojciech Szczesny, Laurent Koscielny, and Aaron Ramsey also picked.
Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea stars comprise the remainder of the team, with not one player from eventual champions Manchester City.
Giroud’s selection up front is the most controversial of the lot, outscored by four strikers in addition to Suarez, and level with Edin Dzeko who played substantially less minutes than he did.
