The North London club were reduced to 10 men after 35 minutes when Granit Xhaka was sent off.
Arsenal have now lost their opening three Premier League games of the season.
City are the defending Premier League champions and showed their superiority to the Gunners today.
Former Arsenal attacking midfielder Ozil has posted a three-word reaction to the defeat on Twitter, as you can see below.

Ozil was on the books of Arsenal from 2013 until January 2021 when he moved to Fenerbahce on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old playmaker’s contract with the Gunners was terminated after he was left out of the squad during the first half of last season.

Arteta did not use Ozil after lockdown, and it seems that the former Real Madrid star is not a fan of the Spaniard.
