Speaking to The Times, Ozan Kabak has opened up about life at Liverpool and working under Jurgen Klopp.
The Turkish defender of course joined the Anfield outfit on deadline day in January, and once his mad-dash deal got over the line, he received a message from the gaffer.
Klopp kept his message short and sweet, but it was enough to get Kabak excited to start life with Liverpool.
“Jürgen is a very good man. He texted me after the transfer and said, ‘we’ll see you soon.’ I was so excited and then when I came to the training ground we spoke a little bit of German-English mix,” Kabak said.

We can only imagine the whirlwind of emotions Kabak must’ve been going through on that day.
He was headed from a Schalke side destined for relegation to the reigning Premier League champions and before he knew it he was receiving text messages from one of the best managers in the world.
Sadly, Kabak’s time at Liverpool hasn’t worked out how he’d have hoped. Injuries have plagued him in recent weeks and it’s being reported that the Reds won’t take up their option to buy him.
Nevertheless, this time on Merseyside must’ve been a fantastic learning experience for the defender.
Who knows? Perhaps Klopp will be texting Kabak again this summer after a permanent transfer to Liverpool.
