The restructuring at Leeds United continues apace.

Oxford United have confirmed on their official website that head scout Craig Dean has left the club to begin a new role at Leeds United.
The Whites have made wholesale changes in recent months, with new sole owner Andrea Radrizzani appointing Thomas Christiansen as manager and Victor Orta as director of football, and now Dean joins them at Elland Road in a bid to continue their fine record of nurturing young talent.

Dean has worked for Oxford since 2014 and he joins striker Kemar Roofe in making the switch from the U’s to Leeds in recent years.
Speaking after his appointment, Dean told oufc.co.uk, “The chance to join Leeds is a very exciting new challenge for me; one I’m looking forward to, but I wish Oxford every success.”

Orta has already set about bringing in a number of impressive teenagers from across Europe and many of them have settled into Leeds’ under-23 side. But it seems that is just the start, with Dean tasked with nurturing that talent while also seemingly searching for even more.
Leeds have had a mixed start to the new campaign, starting in blistering form before suffering back-to-back defeats directly before the latest international break.
Whatever happens in the coming months, the future looks bright at Leeds and Dean will be hoping to make even brighter by working alongside Orta in a bid to take the Whites to the next level.
