Luke Garbutt, on loan from Everton, scored for Oxford United against Walsall at the weekend.

Oxford United fans have responded to Everton-owned defender Luke Garbutt’s post on Twitter following the match against Walsall away from home at the weekend.
Karl Robinson’s side got the better of Walsall 3-1 away from home at Banks’s Stadium in League One this past Saturday.
Garbutt started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and the performance of the 25-year-old – who is a left-back by trade – was superb.
The former England Under-21 international – signed by Oxford on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Everton in the summer of 2018 – scored one goal and created another for Oxford.
Garbutt has taken to Twitter revel in the win, with Oxford fans responding to his message – which will be of interest to Everton and the Merseyside outfit’s supporters.

Oxford fans seem to like Garbutt and have been impressed by his performances, and perhaps the 25-year-old will be better off at the League One club in the long run.
After all, it is hard to see Garbutt establish himself in the Everton first team as he is now 25 years of age.
