West Ham United youngster Marcus Browne continues to win plenty of plaudits out on loan.

A number of Oxford United fans were lauding Marcus Browne on Twitter after the West Ham youngster took to social media to comment on the League One side’s draw with Sunderland at the weekend.

Browne is doing a superb job of proving a point to his parent club as he continues to impress out on loan. He has provided one goal and one assist from the number 10 role, but he faced arguably his toughest task of the season yet in the U’s’ latest clash.

Oxford travelled to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland, who many will be expecting to secure promotion back to the second tier at the first time of asking this year.

Charlie Wyke’s goal ensured that the points would be shared after Ricky Holmes scored the game’s opening goal for Oxford, but Browne’s display saw the Hammers youngster earn a large number of plaudits from the supporters after the fixture.

The 20-year-old looked lively and dangerous throughout the draw, so it was little surprise that his tweet on the game prompted a number of Oxford fans to laud the Irons ace.

Several suggested that Browne was the man of the match, while others were full of praise for his form since his move from the London Stadium in the summer.
