Fry said that he has had agents tell him that Rangers and Celtic are “very interested” in the former Newcastle United striker, adding that the club are looking for £15 million as transfer fee for the star player.

According to The Scottish Sun, Peterborough value the 24-year-old at £12 million, with the report stating that Gerrard’s side and Lennon’s team are interested in securing his services in the summer transfer window.

MacAnthony has raved about the former Newcastle striker, and has said that players like him are “rare to find”.
