
Owen Hargreaves praised Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock on BT Sport 2 (7:47pm, November 26, 2020) for his performance against Molde.
The former Manchester United midfielder, who now works as a pundit for BT Sport, was impressed by the display produced by Willock during Arsenal’s 3-0 win against Molde away from home in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The 21-year-old midfielder provided two assists and played his role in the Gunners progressing to the knockout rounds of the Europa League.
Hargreaves seems to think that the Europa League is made for Willock, and the former Bayern Munich star also praised his Arsenal teammate and 20-year-old winger Reiss Nelson, who scored for the Gunners in the 55th minute.
The former England international said about Willock on BT Sport 2 (7:47pm, November 26, 2020): “This is Joe Willock’s competition, by the way. He is brilliant. Left foot, right foot, driving from midfield.”
Hargreaves added: “Reiss Nelson, I thought, played really well.”
