Would Celtic defender Kieran Tierney be a good signing for Everton?

Tierney is one of the best defenders in the Scottish Premiership and is one of the most promising young left-backs in Europe.
The 20-year-old has established himself as the first-choice left-back for Celtic and is also a regular in the Scotland national football team.

The youngster has also demonstrated his versatility by playing as a central defender and as a right-back as well.
Former Bayern Munich star Hargreaves has suggested that Tierney should not leave Celtic for one of the biggest clubs in England.
The former England international has suggested that the youngster would be better off at a club like Everton.

“Tierney will play somewhere big,” Hargreaves told The Scottish Sun. “But I’m not sure leaving Celtic just to go to a big club is the answer for him. It’s maybe not the right way to go about it.
“You look at Patrick Roberts leaving Manchester City to sign for Celtic. He’s a City player and on paper that’s great, but he hasn’t played for them. He’s had to go to Celtic to get games.
“As young and as good as these guys are, it’s all about getting an opportunity to play. Tierney might be better looking at Everton or somewhere like that.”
Tierney has a lot of potential and is good enough to play for a big club in England, but for now the youngster is better off at Celtic.
Celtic are going placed under manager Brendan Rodgers, and the Scotland international left-back should remain at Celtic Park for now.
