Owen Hargreaves has told BT Sport during their live coverage of West Ham United’s match against Everton, which was broadcast on 29th November, that Andre Ayew was completely anonymous at Goodison Park.

Ayew was given the nod to start up-front for West Ham against Everton, but he failed to make any sort of impact.

The Ghanian was brought in as a replacement for the injured Andy Carroll, but often looked isolated up top, as West Ham got battered by the Toffees.

Everton picked up a 4-0 victory over David Moyes’ side, to inflict further misery on the struggling Hammers.

And Hargreaves slated Ayew’s performance after the match. He said: “Ayew, you didn’t even see him at point in the game.”

Ayew was far from the only West Ham player to fall short against Everton, but his lack of impact up-front did not help David Moyes’ side’s cause.

West Ham simply could not cope with the hosts, with Wayne Rooney scoring a brilliant hat-trick during the contest.

West Ham fans are now growing seriously concerned that they could be relegated this season, with Moyes’ side currently sat in the relegation zone.

The Hammers’ next three games come against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal and Moyes’ side will simply have to improve if they are to collect any points.
