Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur side failed to make a signing during the summer transfer window.

Tottenham failed to make even one addition in the summer transfer window, becoming the first team in the Premier League history to not making a signing.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have started brilliantly though, and currently sit in third place in the Premier League table.
And the only area Hargreaves feels that Tottenham need to improve is in midfield.
“I don’t think January is important,” he said. “They have a great squad. Who can they bring in to make them better, that’s the thing.
“They have a great goalkeeper, a great defence. A central midfielder player I’d love to see, but they have wingers and goalscorers. They’ve got the lot really.”

Tottenham have been on the look out for new midfielders for some time.
The futures of both Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama have come into question of late, and if the duo do depart then additions will need to be made.
If Spurs do sign a central midfielder they will be in competition with Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks and Eric Dier for a first-team place.
Spurs won their last match out against Leicester City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium yesterday.
