West Ham United are in danger of getting sucked into the Premier League relegation battle.
West Ham United are not having a good season, and their recent performances and results have been hugely disappointing.
Slaven Bilic’s side are 15th in the Premier League table at the moment with 33 points from 30 matches, just six points above the relegation zone.
The Hammers do have a good team, but there is a danger that they could get sucked into the relegation fight. After all, the London club have lost their last four league fixtures and are without a win in six.
Could West Ham get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season? Probably not, but then again, no team is ever too good to go down.
Bilic’s side’s next Premier League match is against Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium this evening.
West Ham will then face relegation candidates Swansea City at the London Stadium and Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
Former Manchester United and Manchester City midfielder Owen Hargreaves, who now works as a pundit for BT Sport, does not think that West Ham will get relegated.
“I don’t think they will go down,” said Hargreaves about West Ham’s relegation chances on the Live Premier League Tonight show on BT Sport 1 last Saturday evening (broadcast from 8pm, April 1, 2017).
