Owen Hargreaves has said on BT Sport 2 (10:50am, March 18, 2022) that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have made an “unbelievable” signing in Luis Diaz.
The former Manchester United and Manchester City midfielder has been impressed by how well Diaz has done for Liverpool since his move from FC Porto in the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old Colombia international winger has scored two goals in six Premier League matches for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Diaz has also helped Liverpool win the Carabao Cup.
Hargreaves said: “Luis Diaz is an unbelievable player.”

In our opinion, Diaz will get better and develop his game even more at Liverpool in the coming years.
The Colombian is still only 25.
His best years are ahead of him.
And Liverpool will benefit from that.
Now, we know that Liverpool have a very strong and competitive attacking unit.
Diaz will have to compete with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota for a place in the starting lineup.
Now, that will be tough.
However, we are seeing now that Klopp trusts Diaz and is playing him in big games.
We should not be surprised if by the middle of next season, Diaz becomes one of the first names on the Liverpool teamsheet.
