Owen Hargreaves has said on Premier League Productions that Manchester City-owned Leeds United winger Jack Harrison is one of the most underrated players in the Premier League.
The former Manchester United and City midfielder made the comment about Harrison while analysing the performances of striker Patrick Bamford for Leeds so far this season.
Hargreaves said about Harrison on Premier League Productions: “I think he is one of the most underrated players in the division.”
Important player for Leeds United
Harrison, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, has established himself as an important player for Leeds. When fit and available, the 24-year-old is one of the first names on the West Yorkshire club’s teamsheet.
According to WhoScored, Harrison has scored one goal and provided three assists in nine Premier League matches for Leeds so far this season.
The Englishman is in his third season on loan at Leeds from City, and the winger has progressed well under head coach Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road and has impressed Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.
For Leeds to have a successful season in the Premier League in 2020-21, Harrison will have to be on top of his game throughout and create chances for Bamford on a regular basis.
