West Ham United were beaten 5-1 by Arsenal in their latest outing.
Owen Hargreaves has told BT Sport, during his live coverage of West Ham United’s match against Arsenal, that he thought Ashley Fletcher was ‘brilliant’.
West Ham decided to start with Fletcher up-front in the London derby, after the youngster scored against Manchester United in the EFL Cup in midweek.

And, despite receiving a lack of service, Fletcher still earned praise from Hargreaves for leading the line well.
“I think he’s been brilliant, the young man, leading the line,” Hargraves said, during the match.
Fletcher was one of the best performers for West Ham during what was a highly disappointing match for Slaven Bilic’s side.

West Ham fell to a 5-1 defeat against Arsenal, and they never really threatened their London rivals.
Arsenal were on top for the entirety of the encounter, and an Alexis Sanchez hat-trick and goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mesut Ozil provided them with the three points.
West Ham are now just one point above the relegation zone, with the pressure rising on Bilic.
The Hammers are next in action on Sunday, when they take on high flying Liverpool at Anfield.
