Tottenham Hotspur won against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Tottenham Hotspur returned to winning ways on Tuesday evening, as they got the better of Borussia Dortmund 2-1 away from home in the Champions League.
Spurs headed into the match against Dortmund in Germany on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal away from home in the North London derby.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side bounced back perfectly from the defeat in the Premier League, as they came from a goal down to pick up all three points in Europe.

The win against Dortmund means that Tottenham have now progressed to the last-16 stage of the Champions League as group winners.
Spurs midfielder Dele Alli failed to make an impact against Arsenal last weekend, but the England international retained his place in the starting lineup against Dortmund.
The 21-year-old was not at his best against Dortmund, but he did his job effectively, providing the assists for the two goals for Tottenham.

Former Bayern Munich and Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves was co-commentating on the game for BT Sport, and he gave his opinion on Alli when the youngster was being substituted in the 81st minute.
Hargreaves said about Alli on BT Sport 3 on Tuesday evening (9:24pm, November 21, 2017): “Not at his best, but what I would say is if you don’t play at your best, find a way to affect the football match. Dele Alli did that with a really crucial pass into Son.”
