Newcastle United are set to bring in Miguel Almiron from Atlanta United, according to reports.

Hargreaves, who covers MLS football regularly, is a fan of Almiron, who is expected to sign for Newcastle soon.
The playmaker is set to become Newcastle’s record signing, as reported by BBC Sport.
And Hargreaves believes that Almiron could be exactly what Rafael Benitez’s side need when he arrives from Atlanta United.
He said: “Almiron is a number 10. It’s exactly what they need. Think back to a Nobby Solano type player, that’s what this team needs. Newcastle fans will be delighted.”
Almiron was made Rafael Benitez’s top target at the start of January, but it has taken a long time for Newcastle to get a deal over the line.

The Magpies initially walked away from talks with Atalanta, as they felt the addition was too expensive.
However, Newcastle have now been able to agree a price, and he should become their first addition this month.
Almiron’s impending arrival at St. James’ Park will serve to lift the mood around the club further after their victory over Manchester City last night.
