Arsenal have drawn Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Owen Hargreaves has told BT Sport he believes that Arsenal can exploit Bayern Munich’s weaknesses in their Champions League clash.
The Gunners had been hoping for an easier last 16 encounter this season after finally managing to finish top of their group.
The draw did not prove to be a happy one for them though as they were paired with German champions Bayern Munich.
It is not the first time they have faced the giants at this stage, with Bayern having knocked them out at the same stage in 2012/13 and 2013/14.

They will not be the favourites for this tie but Hargreaves believes they have a chance against Carlo Ancelotti’s team.
“You’ve to feel sorry for Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal fans,” he told BT Sport.
“The good thing is this is not the same Bayern Munich team, they’re struggling a bit. They’re not the same dominant Bayern team we’ve seen in the past. There is hope for Arsenal.”

In truth, this is probably the best chance that Arsenal do have of finally progressing past Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The Germans are still top of the Bundesliga but they have not been at their best by far and that should give the Gunners hope.
Arsene Wenger’s side have done well in the Premier League so far and if they replicate that form in this clash then there is no reason they cannot come out victorious.
