Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers look set to appoint a new manager shortly.

Derek McInnes looks like being named as Rangers’ next manager following a five-week process to replace Pedro Caixinha, who was sacked on October 26.
Murty has taken charge of the Gers’ first team since then and back-to-back wins over Aberdeen over the past week ensures that the 43-year-old will leave the role with his head held very high.

But the former Reading defender, who won his first two games in charge, saw just how hard the job could be after Hamilton won at Ibrox for the first time since 1926 under his stewardship last month, before suffering another shock defeat at Dundee a week later.
Coyle brings Ross County to Ibrox on Saturday and the former Premier League boss says that whatever happens with Murty, he should stay in management.
“Special mention to Graeme Murty who has been outstanding within that period. And I know he’ll have been hurt, as all his players were by losing the game at home to Hamilton then away to Dundee,” he told BBC Sport.

“But he picked them up and showed a real level of quality of performance against Aberdeen.
“He’s carried himself very well, he’s always come across well on TV and I think is certainly set for a good coaching or managerial future whatever he decides to do.”
