Blackburn Rovers manager Owen Coyle has revealed that he wishes to sign Marvin Emnes permanently, with his six-month loan deal from Swansea City set to expire in January, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.
Emnes has been one of Rovers’ stand-out performers this season following his loan move on the last day of the transfer window from Swansea and has so far scored three goals in eight appearances in all competitions.
And Coyle has told the newspaper that he wishes to sign the former Netherlands under-21 international next summer, stating: “Marvin is one I would like to sign.

“He comes out of contract next year and he’s one I’ve always been a big admirer of for a number of years.”
The 28-year-old has found first-team opportunities hard to come by at Swansea, during his two-year stint with the Welsh club, following an impressive loan spell at the Swans in 2014, before making the switch permanent.

Emnes’ best goal-scoring season came during the 2011-12 campaign, when playing for Middlesbrough in the Championship, netting 18 goals in 48 matches, across three competitions for the newly promoted Premier League outfit.
It is yet to be seen as to whether Emnes will be offered a new contract at Swansea, following the arrival of Bob Bradley as manager at the Liberty Stadium.
