England Under-21’s bounced back from their 1-0 defeat to Germany by beating Denmark 4-0 on Monday evening thanks to two goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Chelsea youngster Loftus-Cheek got the ball rolling after tucking home Josh Murphy’s pass, and Brighton’s Solly March smashed home a superb long-range strike to make it 2-0.
Cauley Woodrow grabbed England’s third from close range, and midfielder Loftus-Cheek then exchanged passes with Jack Grealish to seal a 4-0 victory.
England are gearing up for the European Championships this summer, and Villa youngster Grealish will be keen to nail down his place in Aidy Boothroyd’s squad.
The 21-year-old has endured something of a frustrating season this term, starting 18 Championship games whilst also making seven substitute appearances, with three goals and two assists to his name.
Once tipped as a star of the future having switched his international allegiance from the Republic of Ireland to England, Grealish’s development has stalled over the last 18 months – and fans weren’t impressed with his display against Denmark.

Having come on as a first half substitute for Murphy, Grealish was accused of not doing enough with possession, and running down blind alleys rather than attacking space.
Others simply felt that Grealish was ‘woeful’ and remains overrated, having done little to build on his initial promise shown in the Villa first team.
