Aston Villa fans on Twitter provided a mixed reaction after rumours emerged that they want to sign Liverpool’s Harry Wilson.
The Mirror have claimed that Villa are one of a number of Premier League clubs who are keen to sign the Liverpool academy product.
Wilson was on-loan at Bournemouth last season and he was unable to prevent them from dropping to the Championship on the final day of the campaign, as Villa survived.
There are sections of the Villa Park fanbase who simply don’t want their club to sign the 23-year-old, but others wouldn’t mind having him on board.
Villa fans pointed out how his ability from set-pieces could prove to be vital to a Dean Smith side that scored a number of crucial goals from dead-ball situations after the restart to survive in England’s top-flight.
After enduring a successful spell at Derby two seasons ago, where his side lost to Villa in the play-off final, Liverpool then sent their young talent to Dean Court so he could get a taste of the big time.

Wilson started the season at Bournemouth in a positive fashion, including scoring a stunning free-kick against Manchester City, but as the games progressed, he lost his form and his place in the starting XI.
That is seemingly putting off a number of Villa fans, who offered their thoughts on the links with the Liverpool winger:
