Another Premier League weekend is over and and it is fair to say it was an exciting one.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Hull City and Chelsea all maintained their winning starts to the season with another win.

Indeed it was a good weekend for all the promoted sides, as Middlesbrough beat Sunderland and Burnley secured an impressive win over Liverpool.

Elsewhere, West Ham won their first game at the London Stadium, Ronald Koeman secured his first win as Everton manager and Tottenham got their first victory on the board.

Indeed, the only game without a victor was Leicester City vs Arsenal as they played out a goalless draw at the King Power Stadium.

Here’s a collection of eight overlooked stats from the Premier League’s second weekend.

Southampton’s central midfield pairing of Jordy Clasie and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg did not have a good day when it came to defensive duels, each losing six a piece.

Nobody had a worse day than West Ham’s Enner Valencia when it came to duels, losing 16, while Stoke City’s Mame Biram Diouf lost the most aerial duels of any player.
