Ibrox legend Terry Butcher has said on Football Pass that Steven Gerrard’s Rangers will win against John Kennedy’s Celtic this weekend.
Rangers will take on bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup this coming Sunday.
The Gers and the Hoops won their respective Scottish Premiership games this past weekend and are in good form at the moment.
Rangers legend Butcher has backed Gerrard’s team to get the better of Celtic, who are under the management of Kennedy under the end of the season.
Butcher said on Football Pass: “I am going to go for Rangers. I think their strength of character will be one that will overcome any fears and any worries they might have.”
The Englishman added: “They (Celtic) will have to really pull themselves up, roll their sleeves up and get stuck in even more, but sometimes that might not be enough against this Rangers side that gets there in the end and gets the job done.”

Rangers have already won the Scottish Premiership title this campaign and will know that winning at Ibrox this Sunday will pretty much end Celtic’s season.
The Hoops are looking to win the Scottish Cup to salvage something from what has been a very disappointing campaign.
That will make the Celtic players even more motivated to get the better of Rangers at Ibrox and keep alive their chances of winning the competition.
