The former Crystal Palace owner is not a fan of Mings and does not think that he is a great defender.
The talkSPORT pundit thinks that the 28-year-old England international central defender has mistakes in him.

Earlier this month, Marca reported interest in Mings from Newcastle.
The Magpies reportedly want to sign the defender in the January transfer window.
Mings worked under current Newcastle manager Eddie Howe at Bournemouth.

Jordan said about Mings on talkSPORT (12:23pm, November 22, 2021): “I don’t think he set the world alight before he went to Aston Villa, and I think he has got an over-inflated sense of his own importance at times. I think technically looking at him I think he has got a Rick in him all the time.”
Would Tyrone Mings make Newcastle better?
Mings is a good defender who has played 16 times for England.
Now, of course, every defender makes mistakes.
Even those playing for Manchester United.
Howe worked with Mings at Bournemouth and will know what he can and cannot do.
If Howe wants the defender at Newcastle, then we should trust his judgement.
Mings has made 97 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The defender has scored five goals in those games.
The Englishman has won 32 and lost 48 of those matches.
