Tim Sherwood has lavished praise on the ‘outstanding’ Dejan Kulusevski for his performance in Tottenham Hotspur’s latest victory.
Antonio Conte’s outfit edged out Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 in North London as Spurs moved top of the Premier League standings, for a few hours at least.
Harry Kane was the hero for Tottenham for what was his 250th goal for the Lilywhites in all competitions.
However, Sherwood has also reserved praise for the Sweden international.
Kulusevski has been a revelation at Tottenham since joining on loan from Juventus in the January transfer window.

And although Conte brought him off for Yves Bissouma late on, Sherwood feels that the Italian manager was simply ‘saving his legs’.
He told Optus Sport: “Kulusevski I thought was outstanding today. I think they might’ve been saving his legs today.”
It was indeed an excellent performance from the 22-year-old.
According to WhoScored, Kulusevski managed three key passes – or chances created, in other words – and also won two fouls for his side.
It was another industrious performance by a player who’s rapidly becoming a massive fan favourite among the Tottenham supporters and, honestly, rightly so.
This is someone who epitomises Conte in every possible way on the field and there’s no wonder why the Spurs manager is such an admirer of him.
