Some Aston Villa fans on social media have once again been raving over Jack Grealish after his fantastic performance vs Burnley.
Seeing people wax lyrical about Grealish has become something of a regularity this season, with the England international seemingly putting on a noteworthy performance on a weekly basis at this point.
However, his showing against Burnley was right out of the top drawer, even for his standards.
Unfortunately, Villa couldn’t beat the Lancashire outlet, going down 3-2 on the night, but the midfielder ran the show, scoring a fantastic goal and making sure that the Villans were a constant threat.
His performance is perhaps best summed up by his key passes stat. Indeed, Grealish made 5 key passes against Burnley, which is a tally more than twice as high as the next-most creative player on the pitch.
Villa wiil want to assess what went wrong after they lost to a struggling Burnley side, but one thing is for sure, Grealish barely put a foot wrong on the day.
