Glenn Middleton is enjoying a brilliant breakout season at Rangers.

Glenn Middleton came off the bench in the draw against Villarreal on Thursday – and some Rangers fans on Twitter raved about the quality of his cameo performance.
The Light Blues earned a brilliant point in Spain with a 2-2 away draw in their first group stage match of the Europa League.
Steven Gerrard’s fought back twice to continue their impressive performances in Europe this season and it was Kyle Lafferty who scored the second crucial equaliser.
Middleton had a hand in Lafferty’s goal in the build up and is a rising star that is beginning to make a real impression on the first team.
The 18-year-old winger continues to be used as a second-half substitute by Gerrard and is making the most of his chances.
He is a fleet-footed wide man that can trouble full-backs with his dribbling and he’s now made nine senior appearances this season.

Rangers’ point at Villarreal was arguably the best so far during Gerrard’s reign and they will be hoping they can go deep into the Europa League, while make steps forward in the league too.
