Conor Coady has quickly batted away suggestions from Jamie Carragher that he should could to Liverpool, on Monday Night Football, which was broadcast on Sky Sports.
Carragher claimed that Jurgen Klopp had mentioned Coady as a replacement for Virgil van Dijk at Liverpool, after Wolves had won last night.
And the Sky pundit jokingly went about asking Coady, who was recently labelled as ‘outstanding’ by Gareth Southgate (Sky), how he felt about a potential move to Anfield.
But Coady was quick to bat away suggestions that a return to Liverpool could appeal to him.
“I can’t believe you just put this on me here,” the central defender laughed.
“No! Not at all. I love playing for this football club.”
Coady impressed against for Wolves last night, as they beat Leeds United 1-0 at Elland Road.

The Wolves man was rock solid, as he continues to go from strength to strength with Nuno’s side.
It actually wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if Liverpool did make a move for him in January, following Van Dijk’s injury, but he would cost them a fortune now.
Liverpool let go of Coady when he was a youngster, and that may be a regret for many at Anfield, considering what a talented player he has turned into.
