England’s national stadium will play host to the FA Cup Final and the European Championship finals in the summer, with supporters in attendance.
However, those with eagle-eyes may have spotted that Leeds home ground was actually favoured for the image.
And Leeds supporters were quick to credit Thompson for his work on social media website Twitter.
Leeds will be hoping for more positive coverage on the national news later this evening.
