Tottenham Hotspur-supporting pundit Clinton Morrison has said on Sky Sports News (12:12pm, October 15, 2022) that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could struggle if Thomas Partey gets injured.
The Sky Sports pundit has said that Partey has been outstanding for Arsenal so far this season.
The former Crystal Palace forward, who is a fan of Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals Tottenham, has noted that Ghana international defensive midfielder has had injury problems.
Clinton Morrison on Arsenal star Thomas Partey
Morrison said about Partey: “Partey, I think, he has been outstanding.
“He can’t stay fit at the moment. That is the biggest problem, there are not many players who can do that job.”

Keeping Partey fit
In our opinion, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has to manage Thomas Partey carefully.
We know that the 29-year-old has had fitness issues throughout his time at Arsenal so far.
When fit and available, Partey is brilliant and is a protective shield for the Arsenal back-line.
Arteta has to use the former Atletico Madrid star the right way.
There is no point in playing Partey in UEFA Europa League games in the group stage.
When it looks like Arsenal are going to win a Premier League game, Arteta should take him off.
We also think that the Gunners should not use play Partey in FA Cup and EFL Cup games unless they have to.
Partey has scored one goal in six Premier League appearances and has played six minutes in the UEFA Europa League for Arsenal so far this season.
