Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen reacts after a missed chance
Pundit Matt Le Tissier has told Sky Sports that he felt Christian Eriksen was Tottenham’s man of the match in the 4-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs went into the game having won one of their opening three games of the season, and with just three goals scored, fans were waiting for Mauricio Pochettino’s men to give a top performance.

Those supporters got what they wanted at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday as Spurs ran riot against Stoke, beating them 4-0 – just as they did back in April.
South Korean winger Son Heung-min’s brace – one either side of half time – put Tottenham 2-0 up, and England international duo Dele Alli and Harry Kane both found the net to score their first goals of the new season.

It was an outstanding display from Spurs, who remain unbeaten so far this season as they make a strong start to the season under Mauricio Pochettino.
Many players excelled for Spurs, but one player has been singled out for praise by pundit Matt Le Tissier – playmaker Christian Eriksen.
The Dane had endured a slow start to the new season, but having signed a new contract earlier this week, the playmaker was back to his best in an influential performance, and Le Tissier told Sky Sports that he felt Eriksen was the man of the match.

Le Tissier praised his technique as well as his work rate, before stating that it was by far Tottenham’s best performance of the season.
“Man of the match for me was Christian Eriksen,” said Le Tissier. “He was outstanding all day long, he got a couple of assists in there. He just had fantastic technique on the ball, and a willing runner off of it as well.”
“It was Spurs’ best performance of the season by a million miles – absolutely superb once they got their noses in front,” he added.
