England fans have been left very impressed after a clip of Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish emerged in training yesterday.
Grealish flicked the ball up multiple times, before spinning and lashing a volley into the top corner.
It was a reminder of the quality that the Villa captain possesses.
And it’s fair to say that plenty of England supporters were impressed by the piece of skill.
Grealish to play?
Grealish being left out of England’s opener was Gareth Southgate’s most controversial selection choice yet.
The Villa playmaker did not even make it on to the pitch, as England beat Croatia 1-0 to get off to a flying start to the competition.
Eye-brows were raised when Grealish wasn’t part of the Three Lions’ starting line-up, but Southgate will feel his decision was vindicated, after his side’s successful start.
Grealish could well feature in England’s next game, despite his omission on Sunday.
The Three Lions are set to take on Scotland later this week, and it may require the Villa man’s creativity to forge an opening against Steve Clarke’s men.
