The Leeds midfielder has been out of action since February – will he fit in under the German?
At times last season, Tommaso Bianchi looked a very capable player for Leeds United.
The Italian enjoyed some standout performances, not least during the Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday.
After a few months with the Whites, however, Bianchi seemed to lose his touch. At first, it was a couple of disappointing performances. Then, it was a run of underwhelming displays, until Neil Redfearn eventually dropped him from the senior side.
He briefly returned, before injury ruled the 26-year-old out for the season, meaning he hasn’t been in action for Leeds since February.

As Opta stats show, the Italian made some very noteworthy contributions when on song at Elland Road. In under 2,000 minutes of play, Bianchi won as many tackles as any Leeds player in the Championship.
He also won 49 interceptions and was only out-passed by Sam Byram and Alex Mowatt, who played considerably more than the midfielder last campaign.
There is no doubt the United man dipped in form halfway through the season – a very disappointing change indeed considering how brightly he started the year. So will it be Jekyll or Hyde under Rosler?
