Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the shock transfer news coming from Aston Villa.
Whilst Villa fans continue to try and get over the impending departure of Jack Grealish, the club have pulled a rabbit out of the hat.
Out of nowhere, the Midlands side have signed former Liverpool man Ings from Southampton.
It has shocked the football community across England, including the Liverpool supporters.
There wasn’t even a suggestion that this deal was even close, yet Ings will know be donning on the colours of Villa next season.
Whilst the Grealish loss will hurt Villa, they still have a serious squad that can challenge for Europe next season.
