The Chelsea defender would be a superb addition to the Everton squad this summer.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman
Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen on strengthening his squad in every department this summer, but one area which is particularly in need of addressing is the defensive positions, with the acquisition of a young central defender surely high on the Dutchman’s agenda.
With this is mind, Everton should consider a move for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, with the 22-year-old expecting to receive limited game-time at Stamford Bridge next season.
The France international’s campaign was disrupted by a long term ACL injury he suffered during the previous season, and he made just three Premier League starts for Antonio Conte’s side.

He now seems to be fully recovered, however, and possesses all the attributes required to be a resounding success at Goodison Park.
Standing at 6ft 3in, he possesses an imposing physique, and his strength in the tackle combined with his speed along the ground makes him a nightmare to play against.
Zouma has a tremendous leap, which means he is extremely commanding in the air, and for someone so young, he plays with a certain level of maturity that defines his tender years.

With the Toffees’ back-line desperately in need of an injection of youth, the France international’s arrival on Merseyside would be just the tonic for Ronald Koeman, as he looks to freshen up his defensive options.
The Chelsea man can also play at right-back, which would be a massive bonus for Everton, what with the long-term absence of Seamus Coleman.
Zouma still has two years remaining on his current deal with Chelsea, so the Toffees will have to offer quite a substantial amount to tempt Chelsea into selling, but with their new-found backing from Farhad Moshiri, they should be well capable of coming up with a package that would help prise the Frenchman away from West London.
