Leeds United striker Marcus Antonsson has commented on his future.

Leeds United attacker Marcus Antonsson has told Barometern in his native Sweden that he isn’t heading back to Sweden despite a lack of first-team football.
Antonsson, 25, joined Leeds from Kalmar last summer, having hit 22 goals in 41 games for the Swedes before reuniting with his former Halmstads coach Pep Clotet at Elland Road.
The Leeds assistant seemingly played a part in luring Antonsson to England, and the attacker arrived to offer some competition for Chris Wood in the Leeds attack.
Antonsson was brought in as a backup, but may be a little disappointed with his playing time this season, as he’s started just ten games in all competitions – six in the Championship – and scored only three goals.
His last two starts came in the FA Cup against Cambridge United and Sutton United in the FA Cup, and his last goal was in an EFL Cup tie against Norwich City way back in October.
Leeds didn’t bring in a new striker during the January transfer window despite calls from fans for more firepower, meaning Antonsson could yet play a key role between now and the end of the season.

Now though, Antonsson has been asked about a possible exit from Elland Road by Barometern in his native Sweden, who asked him whether a move to AIK Solna could be on the cards, with the Swedish transfer window open until March 31st.
However, Antonsson said he isn’t going back to Sweden and isn’t ready to leave Leeds having been given indication that they want to keep him, but did admit that he has received a number of proposals.
“The signals I have received from Leeds are that they believe in me, they know what I can do”, said Antonsson. “I’m not going to the Allsvenskan now. It is clear that clubs look if you play or not and, and as I’ve said, the situation looks worse from the outside, then there will be clubs who ask about my situation. What I can say is that there have been a lot of enquiries”, he added.
