Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told Football.London that Lucas Moura will not play against Sporting Lisbon or against Leicester City this week.
Conte’s Tottenham will take on Sporting Lisbon away from home in Portugal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening.
Tottenham will then face Leicester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Conte has said that Brazil international forward Lucas will not play against either Sporting or Leicester, adding that his injury means that £23 million (BBC Sport) star will be back in action only after the international break.

Interestingly, Spurs’ first match after the international break is against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby.
Both Tottenham and Arsenal will be determined to win the Premier League game on Saturday 1.
Antonio Conte on Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Moura
The Tottenham boss told Football.London: “Only Lucas Moura is still out. His recovery is going well but I think we’ll see him after the international break. The others are all available.”
No big miss for Spurs
In our view, Lucas Moura not being able to play against Sporting Lisbon and Leicester City is not a big deal for Tottenham Hotspur.
Yes, of course, Lucas is a very good forward, but Conte has other options in attack now.
Harry Kane remains one of the best strikers in the world, Son Heung-min is a reliable player, Richarlison is scoring important goals, and Dejan Kulusevski is an explosive footballer.
