West Ham United have enjoyed great success in the Czech market in 2020, and who can rule out another move in 2021?
The Hammers raided Slavia Prague to sign Tomas Soucek in January of this year, first landing him on loan before turning the move permanent.
Soucek now has six goals in just 26 games for West Ham, and his strong performances ultimately resulted in West Ham dipping back into the Czech market for right back Vladimir Coufal.
Coufal has become a fan favourite at the London Stadium too, turning in superb displays that may just tempt West Ham into the Czech market yet again in January or next summer.
With that in mind, here are three more players featuring in the Czech Republic that West Ham should be looking to land…
Lukas Provod
If David Moyes wants to persist with his 5-4-1 system, adding another left-wing back would be a great idea, freeing up Aaron Cresswell to stay as the left-sided centre back. Slavia ace Provod has experience playing at both left back and on the left side of midfield, and could be fine competition for Arthur Masuaku.
The 24-year-old has bagged three goals and four assists in 15 games this season, whilst he is a physical presence at 6ft 2in tall, possessing the athletic ability to get up and down the left flank. He can even play in central midfield if needed, with his versatility and physicality surely appealing – just like Soucek.

Lukas Julis
West Ham have been left short in attack with Michail Antonio’s injury issues, and adding another centre forward to help him and Sebastien Haller could make sense in January.
Julis could be one option; the 26-year-old has been in blistering form this season, smashing 13 goals in 18 games for Sparta Prague whilst proving to be a menace against Celtic in the Europa League.
Julis is quick and wouldn’t break the bank, and whilst he has suffered injury blows in the past, he could be an ideal third-choice striker to add depth to West Ham’s attack.

Abdallah Sima
The most exciting player on the list is Sima. The Senegalese attacker only joined Slavia Prague from FC MAS Taborsko in August, but has already smashed nine goals in 12 games for the first team and four goals in six outings for Slavia B.
Capable of playing up front or on either flank, the 19-year-old has been a breakout talent in the Europa League, displaying pace and great movement in from the right flank.
Sima is tall and gangly at 6ft 2in tall, posing an aerial threat as well as using his pace to threaten defences in behind, and with just potential at such a young age, West Ham could land a future star in the Slavia attacker.
