Rangers have landed two attackers this summer in Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten, but there could still be room for another player in the final third.

The Gers have seen Brandon Barker show some talent in the early stages of this season, but another right-sided winger may still be wanted.

One man linked with Rangers is Grady Diangana, with the Glasgow Evening Times claiming in July that the Gers have joined the race for his signature.

The 22-year-old West Ham United winger has returned to East London after a loan spell at West Bromwich Albion, and may be available on loan again.

Rangers wanted Diangana last summer, so their renewed interest is no great shock, but their hopes may be somewhat dwindling.

Diangana started in a West Ham XI against Ipswich Town on Tuesday, and picked up two fine assists for Sebastien Haller, whist his pressing also helped Haller complete his hat-trick.

The youngster has now put himself right in contention for a starting role for West Ham, potentially leaving Rangers’ hopes of signing him in tatters.

Boss David Moyes hailed Diangana on the club’s official website, noting that he had ‘some good moments’ against Ipswich whilst fans raved about him.

Diangana should now be in line for Premier League action, and Rangers’ hopes of landing him on loan appear to be fading fast.
