Everton made the surprise decision to send Moise Kean out on loan on deadline day, allowing him to join Paris Saint-Germain.
The Italian’s first season at Goodison Park didn’t exactly go to plan, as he struggled to live up to the huge billing after signing from Juventus.
Compatriot Carlo Ancelotti wasn’t able to get the best out of him, and he now heads to the French capital to try his luck over there.
Everton have a goalscoring sensation in Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but fans have to be concerned with a lack of depth behind the England international.
Richarlison can play there, but is being utilised as more of a left-sided winger under Ancelotti this season, whilst few will be expecting big things out of Cenk Tosun.
With the domestic window still open until Friday, Everton need to be looking for another striker before the deadline – and they appear to have one in mind.
Sky Sports claim that Everton are keen on signing Bournemouth’s Josh King, and could rival West Ham United for his signing this week.

King ticks many boxes for Everton; he is experienced at 28, he has a proven recor in the Premier League with 48 goals in five seasons at Bournemouth and he’s versatile, offering the ability to play up front, out wide or off the striker.
The Norwegian is out of contract next summer, so Marcel Brands and co may now see this as a chance to land King without having to pay a huge price.
If Everton are to sign a striker whilst still having high hopes for Kean moving forward, then they need to be flexible and of a completely different profile age-wise to the Italian; King is that player.
Everton are also a much more attractive proposition than West Ham right now, so they should fancy their chances of landing King this week – if they really are interested.
