Tottenham Hotspur look set to have two pieces of great news to announce, with Paulo Fonseca set to arrive soon.

The Telegraph report that Fonseca will join Tottenham soon, with Heung-Min Son set to sign a new deal too.

Tottenham have been in talks with Son over a new contract since midway through last season, but have failed to get a deal officially over the line.

However, despite all the uncertainty around Tottenham, it is now claimed that talks have progressed well recently.

Son is now expected to pen a new Spurs contract very soon, with the club getting ready to announce the deal.

That looks like a major boost to Spurs, who will depending on Son to have another strong season next campaign.

With Harry Kane’s future uncertain, Son could become the undisputed star of this Tottenham team if the England captain does leave.

Son has previously stepped up when Kane has been absent through injury, and Spurs would have to hope he could do so again this time around, if the worst does happen.

Spurs fans can at least rest easy in the knowledge that they won’t lose their two most important attackers now though.

And after weeks of frustration, the news that they are set to have a new manager in place and Son will stay, at least offers some reason to be positive for the future.
