The agent of reported Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal target Achraf Hakimi has told Onda Madrid that the fullback could leave Real Madrid this summer.

The Morocco international is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund.

During his time in Germany, Hakimi has become a world class player and set an all-time Bundesliga record for the fastest speed of 22.49mph.

According to Bladi.net, his form has attracted interest from Tottenham and Arsenal.

And while Hakimi’s goal is to return to Real Madrid and become a regular there, his agent admits he could leave the Spanish giants permanently this summer.

“We’ll reach an agreement of some sort over whether he stays or goes, but without forgetting that the aim is to play for Real Madrid one day because, for him, it’s the best club in the world. It could be a short wait if Real Madrid offer him to stay now or a long wait if he doesn’t stay, but the aim is always the same – end up [playing for] the best club in the world,” Alejandro Camano explained, quoted by Goal.

Achraf Hakimi show why he is among the world’s best:

Hakimi has posted four goals and ten assists in 25 Bundesliga starts this term.

The 21-year-old’s output is only rivalled by Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold who many consider to be the best attacking right-back in the world.

Hakimi came through the Real Madrid youth system and has a £50 million release clause.

Arsenal have their own speedster at right-back in Hector Bellerin. However, FC Inter News claim Inter Milan are keen on him.

The Gunners may look at Hakimi as the ideal replacement.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have had fullback problems for over 18 months now.

Spurs sold Kieran Tripper to Atletico Madrid last summer. His replacement, Serge Aurier, has endured an inconsistent campaign for Jose Mourinho’s side.

The Premier League duo may have a chance to sign Hakimi. However, the decision appears to depend on Madrid’s plans for him beyond this summer.
