
Davinson Sanchez is in serious danger of being put in the same position as Dele Alli at Tottenham Hotspur, unless his performances dramatically improve.
Sanchez appeared to be in Tottenham’s starting plans at the beginning of the season, but he has rapidly fallen out of favour.
While Alli’s fall from grace has been well documented, Sanchez’s own slip down the pecking order has not been as heavily publicised, but it is becoming equally concerning.
The Colombian has not been included in any of Tottenham’s last three Premier League squads and he wasn’t even trusted to play in Spurs’s last Europa League match against Ludogorets.
Joe Rodon immediately seems to have moved above Sanchez in the Tottenham pecking order, with Jose Mourinho cutting the 24-year-old out of his team completely.
With Japhet Tanganga set to return for Spurs very shortly, competition for a place is only set to increase.
