Manchester United can soon roll out the red carpet for Marcus Rashford’s imminent reappearance.
Rashford hasn’t kicked a football competitively since the European Championship final way back in July.
The 23-year-old finally decided to accept surgery on a shoulder issue that’s been bugging him for quite a while.
He was afforded a longer rest period than usual before the season re-started, allowing sufficient time to recover and recuperate.
Now back and appearing bulkier than before, the forward could announce his homecoming tomorrow in the Premier League against Leicester City.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will certainly be boosted by Rashford’s revival.
However, a few members of the Red Devils dressing room might not be so welcoming.
Here are three United players we think are going to be most affected by their teammates return:
Jadon Sancho
Jadon Sancho and Rashford went through the trauma of the Euros penalty shoot-out and the awful backlash together over the summer.
Just over a week later, the pair become club colleagues as well as international partners following Sancho’s arrival from Borussia Dortmund.
The two Englishman have yet to partner up for United, due to Rashford’s absence.

Saturday is the stage for them to connect finally, although the King Power probably only has room for one of them at a time.
Sancho has mainly been playing off the left for United, the area Rashford usually prefers.
That particular flank is already pretty crowded; it’s now looking even more like the London underground at rush hour.
Paul Pogba
Another man hoping to catch the last train on the district line is Paul Pogba.
Like Sancho, the Frenchman has found himself deployed on the left by Solskjaer.
His excellent early-season work was achieved on that side.

When he’s played more centrally, the spark begins to fade.
Expect a three-way tussle between Pogba, Sancho and Rashford for that particular channel.
Anthony Martial
Just when everything was starting to look up for Anthony Martial, reality comes crashing down around him.
The 25-year-old scored his first goal of the campaign against Everton, the final fixture before the international break.
Ironically, he started the match on the left.

Are you seeing a pattern emerging?
Martial’s name can be chucked into the mix of names vying for that very popular role.
Alternatively, Solskjaer could move the attacker more central, but then he’d be competing with Cristiano Ronaldo and Edison Cavani.
Luck is just not in Martial’s corner.
