Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil has responded to Piers Morgan’s sarcastic remarks comparing him to Paul Pogba, as posted on Twitter.

Celebrity Arsenal fan and ITV presenter Morgan has tweeted to Ozil saying that ‘real Arsenal fans’ are not behind him.

The 55-year-old has stated that Ozil is like Manchester United midfielder Pogba and has strongly criticised him.

The German attacking midfielder is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season and is not in the Gunners’ Premier League or Europa League squad at the moment.

Morgan is not a fan of Ozil and wants him to leave, as he has stated on Twitter before, but just like on that occasion, the former Real Madrid star has hit back at him again on the social networking site.

This time Everton winger Yannick Bolasie – who joined the Toffees from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £25 million – has reacted positively to Ozil’s remarks, as shown below.

It will be interesting to see if Morgan responds to Ozil’s remarks.
