Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have responded to Manchester United star Paul Pogba’s comments about Jose Mourinho.

Pogba worked with Tottenham head coach Mourinho at United and won the Europa League together in 2017.

The France international midfielder has said that although he had a good relationship with the Portuguese, it changed, and he does not know why.

The 28-year-old made the comments about Mourinho – who earns £288,000 a week at Spurs, according to The Daily Mail – while discussing his relationship with current United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Pogba told Sky Sports: “What I have now with Ole is different, he wouldn’t go against the players. He wouldn’t go against the players.

“Maybe Ole wouldn’t pick them, but it’s not like he puts them on the side like they don’t exist anymore. That’s the difference between Mourinho and Ole.

“Once I had a great relationship with Mourinho, everybody saw that, and the next day you don’t know what happened. That’s the strange thing I had with Mourinho and I cannot explain to you because even I don’t know. So, yeah.”

Pogba clearly likes working with Solskjaer and is a fan of the United boss, and this bodes well for the club.

The Frenchman is an important player in the team, and him being happy is good for United in terms of winning major trophies in the future.

It will be interesting and fascinating to see what Mourinho has to say about Pogba’s comments.

Spurs are playing Everton in the Premier League this evening, and perhaps after the game, he will asked to give his take on the 28-year-old former Juventus star’s comments.
